Harlequin : a pure spirit, a spark, a way of life

Speech : the relation between the object to the word, and the word to the meaning

Harlequin + Speech = Nasr Eddin Hodja, or words facing impossible meanings

 

This silent performance partly extemporized, consists in a play among Harlequin and his possible masks. As soon as the voice of the actor appears on stage, he starts mixing the sounds and the words; then the performance slips from the body of Harlequin to the words of Nasr Eddin Hodja, pure energy of game, the one of the Fool.
